2009-05-16: Our Bike & Car Show date is set for May 16th with a May 30th rain date. Event planing is in full swing. Our chosen charity is Child Abuse Prevention. The organization is the Child Abuse Prevention Association, aka CAPA, here in Independence. You can find out all about them on thier website www.childabuseprevention.org. This is a local organization supporting a worthy cause so let's all get on board for this event and make it a great one! We will have some real nice trophies for several classes for both cars and bikes, a dinner and live music by Bobbie G and the Mustangs. Watch for more details soon.

2008-12-13: Enjoy a Smorgasbord dinner and the classic rock and R&B sounds of Fictive Kinship. Dinner starts at 6:30 (bring a covered dish if you wish), $6/person which includes cover charge for the band. The band plays from 8-12pm, cover charge for the band only will be $3. 2008-07-26: Need parts for your bike? Head out to the swap meet for a wide selection of parts for any motorcycle.

2008-07-19: We will be having a poker run for the intensive care nursery at childrens mercy on July 19th. You may pre-register or register the day of the event. $20 Entry Fee, Passenger $10, Extra Hand $5. Registration begins at 9:00 AM includes complimentary breakfast, and BBQ meal with all the fixings & raffle tickets. Last rider leaves at 11:00 AM, BBQ served @ 4:00 PM.
